Our Purpose
Composting is a powerful way to fight climate change and reduce our environmental footprint. When organic waste like food scraps and yard trimmings are sent to landfills, they decompose without oxygen and release methane—a greenhouse gas over 25 times more potent than carbon dioxide. By composting, we divert this waste from landfills and turn it into nutrient-rich soil that can restore depleted land, improve water retention, and support healthy plant growth. Composting also reduces the need for chemical fertilizers, supports local agriculture, and helps build a circular system where waste becomes a valuable resource. Through this program, we’re not just managing waste—we’re regenerating the earth.
